The redesign of the Johannes Vermeerprijs website was aimed at creating a comprehensive digital archive of all prize recipients since the award was introduced. The platform brings together jury reports, essays, speeches, and other materials, while highlighting the work and achievements of each winner.
The website is organised as a timeline, allowing users to navigate through the years and explore the history of the award. The homepage presents a collection of artworks and visual content from past recipients, providing an entry point into the archive. From there, users can access dedicated pages for each laureate, featuring biographies, selected works, image galleries, and related publications.
Built on a flexible content structure, the website can accommodate different types of content each year while maintaining a clear, intuitive, and user-friendly experience.
