“One of the functions of landscape is to correspond to, nurture, and provoke exploration of the landscape of the imagination.” - Rebecca Solnit In EARTH – A Collective Landscape, the AkzoNobel Art Foundation brings together artworks that focus on our relationship with nature. From flowers growing in urban settings and imagined landscapes to works that examine our impact the environment, the exhibition explores different perspectives on our surroundings. The multi-artist exhibition was presented at the AkzoNobel Art Space in Amsterdam.

This project was created during employment at LMNOP.works
Responding to growing awareness of the climate crisis, the exhibition encourages visitors to reconsider their relationship with the natural world. Works by artists such as Herbert Brandl, Lin de Mol, and Jan Robert Leegte present diverse interpretations of landscape, ecological awareness, and the relationship between humans and their environment, offering new ways of looking at and engaging with the world around us.
The visual identity developed specifically for this project translates the exhibition’s themes into a dynamic graphic system inspired by natural movement and changing landscapes. Images and graphic elements drift across compositions, moving gently like wind, water, or leaves across the frame. This visual landscape was developed into a flexible design system and motion language applied across the exhibition campaign, including environmental graphics, window stickers, digital communications, advertising and a printed exhibition guide.
